funny stuff

Last Monday into Tuesday night the funniest thing happened. I was shoveling a path outside for pallets to be brought out and my Assistant Manager grabbed a shovel to help me. She screamed "Cindy" and jumped outside. I turned around, saw yellow dust and smoke filling the backroom and covering snow outside the receiving door, and busted into laughter. My Assistant Manager had knocked off the fire extinguiser from the wall and when it hit the floor, it emptied out into the backroom. Smoke was all the way down the hall to the time clock and out the other way down to soda/water area. I know alot of you don't know the dimensions of the backroom, but if you have ever been to the Auburn Walmart, picture from the cheese wall in dairy all the way around the back to the soda area and near infants. Yeah, that big covered in smoke. It was funny. Soon the other Assistant Manager knew about it (glad they give me a walkie) and the associates found out too. It was the high point of the night.
So not much to interesting going on, just had to share the laugh with someone. I just wish all nights could have a good chuckle like that to keep us going all night.

Almost forgot.....

Salem - St Mary's Cemetery - Witnesses walking up the path from the elevated crypt belonging to the Veteran from WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam, heading toward the tall hill. Received unpleasant feelings from the forest down the hill to the left. Upon looking off to the right, noticed a grayish white human figure about 15 feet from the road walking along side of us, going the direction we had come from. Sounds of claws tapping the path. Saw a light around waist level moving around near the top of the hill.

This is near mom and dad's camp. I really want to check this one out. Not sure where it is though. I thought I knew, but now that I looked at google earth, I am not sure any more.

Bar!!!!!

Went to the bar last night and had fun with my friends. I miss going there sometimes. It was a good time to remember and we went to Becki's house after to hang out for a little while. Now today I get to go see Happy Feet again and go to my sisters for a visit. Good day planned today too!! Yaaaaa!!!! I could get use to having weekends off I guess.

Getting sued....

Well, work is anyway. And my name is in the lawsuit. One of the ex employees is suing for discrimination. No big deal really, it's not like it will stick. She shows a picture very unappropriate for work and says it is our fault. Not that I care really, I was not at work when she did this a year or so ago, nor do I really care about it. What irkes me is what she is claiming I said to a Co and the Store Managers. Claims I called her (Pardon this please) a nigger. Luckly I found out last night that 13 people asked about it (all involved in the lawsuit) said that I would never say such a thing. So even though it sounds like this case might get thrown out before it gets started, I am still getting wound up about this everytime someone mentions it. I do hope in a way this goes to court just so I can hear her say that I said this. Then listen to 13 people call her a liar. Small satisfaction in that.
So on a differant note, not much else is interesting right now in my life. There is work, sleep, little eating, and more work. We did go play poker the other night and it came down to Jen, some other guy (I think his name was Scott) and me. Jen won over all. Yeah, Jen won on her second time playing. Go Jen!! That is all my excitement.

So I haven't said much since before Xmas. It went well I think. There were a few gifts given I am not sure people were really happy with, but with a limited budget I think we did well. Got good stuff too, still reading a couple of cool books. On is the new Koontz and the other is a Superman book. I got a cool one about ghosts and stuff too, which I can't wait to get into. The New Year was ok, spent the way I figured. Kat asleep, Jen asleep, and me sitting here looking at the computer, watching TV. I was invited to kiddo's, but come to find out they were asleep too. Oh well, I was never too big on the new year anyway. Went to Chris' b day party. It was fun to watch a bunch of people play the Guitar Heroes games. The best is that Chris was having a great time. We do have something for a present, btw, just waiting for it to come in.
My sisters b day is today, and we are waiting for her present too. I am going to attempt to make something for her tonight. Hope it goes well. I will try to get Kat to post a pic or I will if it looks good. Otherwise, no pic.
Work still sucks and is getting worse. The Co manager has plans to make my job impossible to do and will not listen to anyone. I once heard him say "It's my way or the highway." and I am thinking the highway is not such a bad option. But there is another mangement class coming up that I will stupidly apply for. Wish me luck I think.
That is about all. Not too much exciting, just same old stuff. This year is not starting off any differant than last. Maybe that is why I don't get to excited over one ending and a new beginning.
