Happy Dance Day

Two great things for today!!! First is therapy. Bright and early at 9 am. Up to now they have been hooking me up to the mini car battery and shooting me with steriods. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Well today I got a work out. I used the bike machine for about 10 minutes. The rpms averaged about 50 and I went about 2.5 miles. Then it was off to the leg lifts. 2 sets of 10 reps at about 15 pounds. Finally I had a leg press, again 2 sets at 10 reps. Ready for the weight??? At 55 pounds cause 50 was to light. I could have done more, but we did not want to push too much on the first time. I have one more week (two appointments) left, and my therapist said if we need we can do more, but it looks like I should be set. Yaaaaa!!! No more wheelchair soon!!!!
Second great news. I just got back from filing for bankruptcy. No creditors showed! This means that in a month and a half roughly I will have no more debt!!! No more stressing over the house, the credit cards, or anything else! I just have to pay my car off, cause the sweetheart who is selling it to me I would love to get another vechile from, and he has bent over backwards to help me keep the car. So no more stress over my debt and money problems!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
The only bad news is that I am going to back out of the shows this coming weekend. I don't want to push the knee now that it is showing great signs of improvement and I don't need Wal-mart finding out and getting pissy with me. I will still go and support Sean and all the others. Hopefully the wonderful lady friend we have will come too, and my special niece. I get to sit back and enjoy the show, which I don't get to do often, so it's not all that bad either.
That is all for now, hope to be able to post next week about being free from the restaints of the wheels. By the way, I have NOT learned how to do a wheelie yet. Yet......still got a week..........
