Bitch slap them all...ok, not all

First I would like to say that I am drinking a 20 oz water right now. Yes, water. Shocking I know, but damn, it is hot out there. Second, I know I said I would not complain about work anymore, but Kat is at her new job and I only had time this morning to give her a kiss an money for tolls. So with the way it went last night and Kat not here, you all get to hear me vent yet again about the evil place and the so called crew I have to deal with. My apoligizes and I will not hold it against any of you if you stop reading now.
I worked over 300 pieces of pharmacy freight in about 2 hours before I got to grocery side where I belong. Not that I mind, I love helping the ladies out over there and miss them dearly. I love working freight anyway, and helping out a crew that I know busts it out every morning makes me happy. Now over on my side of the store I got my alleys filled and zoned, the rail over by gm side filled, and 4ways by registers zoned and filled. Plus the back room, unloading produce, and checking in a vendor. A normal sweat my ass off night. I really did too, I think I sweated enough weight off I might have lost my ass. Disappointment to some of you, but a blessing to me:)
Now a crew of 7 really good grocery people got maybe 1500 pieces done. Let's do the math, 1500 divide by 7. Little over 214 in a 8 hour shift. See my problem here? I know they said they were tired, it was a long weekend for them. I looked at over 2000 pieces for the last two nights they worked. But give me a break here. I have two of them that I know can push out over 800 in an entire shift alone. They only get to an average of 200??? We had a meeting just before they all left to let them know that I was dissapointed in them and find out what was wrong. Give them a chance to explain what happened. Only fair. Want to hear what they said?

Yep, that was it. Nothing. Not one reason as to why. Only that they didn't have only 900 like anounnced at meeting. And they were tired. Wah. Even on my last day of the 5 day strech I did over 100 pieces an hour. I just want to say that I was really upset with their performance. It looked like my 4 days off they did nothing. They really do need a babysitter. My assistant last night told me to move some GM people over and move some of them out. So I did. I don't go in tonight, but I am sure I will hear about it Weds when I go back. They got me so worked up I did a couple sets of my weights this morning. BTW, thanks Kat for the weight set. It will come in real handy it looks like.
ok, I am done. If you did read all this, thanks for letting me vent. If not, well, your not reading this either.
